jumpblock - student project

Hi!

I’m a high school student, and this game is my semester project. It’s a simple platformer inspired by games like Jump King, with a focus on learning polymorphism and inheritance in Java.

This is just a prototype, so please don’t expect too much—I’m still learning. While I did use AI to help with a few specific functions, the majority of the code was written by me.

BASIC CONTROLS:

• SPACE – Charge jump

• While charging, hold A or D to jump left or right (also used to move sideways)

Note:
There are no save points, finish screen, options menu, or music. When you jump to the Finish platform, that’s the end!
